Many thanks for all the donations, which kept me splashing around for just under 3 hours. I finished the 10km in 2 hrs 57mins and am happy to be back on dry land! Thanks to friends and family for the encouragement.
Fundraising to keep us going
The total raised with gift aid came to £823.12.
This money will be put towards helping Fair Mobility support events during 2015. The charity depends on fund-raising like this, so please consider giving at future events.
One of our volunteers, Pete Borlace is fund raising again for us this year. This time he is swimming a 10km open water event in Buttermere Lake on 14th September 2014.

Last year the money raised in the sponsored triathlon went towards the purchase of the double-deck trailer which has enabled us to bring more scooters and power chairs to events, helping more customers enjoy life in comfort.

Many thanks to all the people who donated, it was really appreciated and helped drive me on to complete the Triathlon. I finished the course in 3 hrs 27 mins, which I was pretty happy with, as my first attempt.
